Lauren the Morphin’ Orphan is a science nerd living alone in a junkyard, destined to find her voice, get jumped into the goddess posse, become Blue Girl and save Gaia through the intergalactic power of music.
“Blue Girl and the Burning Bushes” unfolds as a captivating Science-Fiction Rave Opera, narrating the post-“Second Coming” world wherein the celestial rapture occurred in 2000. Blue Girl, a half-human, half-goddess pop star turned superheroine, returns to Earth to reveal the overlooked divine event and assess if redemption is still possible. Alongside her are The Burning Bushes, a radiant Pleiadean sister goddesses band, orchestrating a spectacle blending circus acts, puppetry, and a chakra-journey dance concert with ’90s Vocal Trance EDM beats. This cosmic journey weaves spirituality, redemption, and the vibrant energy of a bygone era into an epic tale ready to transport audiences across time and space.
From the mind of Eliza Jane Schneider, Blue Girl is a brand new multi-faceted narrative universe with a single goal – to inspire future climate activists and artists to heal the planet. The Blue Girl mythos and tales are told through music, circus arts, animation and video games.
Creators of the “Blue Girl Project” are composing and producing sound-healing music, workshopping a live stage performance, and scripting an animated feature about Lauren the Morphin’ Orphan: the girl destined to save the planet through the power of music.
The above audio track, “Blue Trance” paints the vibe and feel of the Junkyard where Lauren was abandoned as a toddler.
Goals for 2025 include finishing the libretto, score, and pitch deck for the animated feature, adding vocals and violin to the sound-healing tracks, and connecting OG Blue Girl fans with the global climate-concerned community through social media.
